    Team 6 – SWEDEN

A newly formed Swedish lineup built on complementary strengths and a shared drive to push beyond limits enters the One Water Race. Combining expedition racing resilience, elite swimrun speed, and years of long-distance experience, this team brings together three distinct athlete profiles into one cohesive unit. Supported by an experienced crew with strong knowledge of the demands of the race, the team adds an important layer of confidence and stability to their setup.

With a balance of toughness, strategy, and positive energy, they are preparing to meet the demands of the Stockholm archipelago head-on. Strong communication, trust, and the ability to support each other through the toughest moments form the foundation of their approach — knowing that success in this race comes from moving as one.

Driven by curiosity, purpose, and the ambition to discover their full potential as a team.

    Team 8 – USA

A team built on experience, strategy, and a shared drive to push beyond limits enters the One Water Race lineup. Bringing together athletes from the United States and Sweden, they combine battle-tested race experience with fresh energy and a hunger to prove what they are capable of.

With multiple strong swimmers, a tactically sharp mindset, and previous One Water Race experience already within the team, they are prepared to handle both the physical demands and the strategic challenges of the archipelago. Known for their ability to solve problems in real time and support each other through the toughest phases of a race, they aim to operate as one cohesive unit from start to finish.

Driven by the ambition to stay close to the front of the race and push through the decisive final stages.

  • Team 7 – SWEDEN

    Team 7 – SWEDEN

Unfinished business brings this Swedish team back to the One Water Race start line. After two determined attempts in 2024 and 2025, both ending deep into the race, they return with one clear objective: turning hard-earned experience into a finish at the lighthouse in Landsort.

Having already spent nearly two full days racing through the archipelago in previous editions, the team knows just how unforgiving the course can be. Strong swimming, relentless endurance, improving navigation, and a support crew keeping a close eye on tactics, energy, and morale give them a solid foundation for another attempt.

With a team built on close friendships, family ties, and years of racing together, they understand how to push through the highs and lows of a race that tests both body and mind.

  • Team 5 – GER/GBR/SWE

    Team 5 – GER/GBR/SWE

A dynamic combination of elite swimrun strength and seasoned adventure racing experience defines this newly formed international lineup. With powerful endurance athletes, a navigator proven in multi-day races across continents, and previous One Water Race experience already within the team, they bring together the qualities needed to handle both speed, strategy, and the demands of the archipelago.

With strong mindsets, diverse racing backgrounds, and a shared commitment to pushing their limits, they unite individual experience into one collective effort.

  • Team 4 – SWEDEN

    Team 4 – SWEDEN

A carefully constructed lineup with elite experience and proven results, this team brings together world-class swimrun performance, navigation expertise, and first-hand race knowledge from the support boat. With an ÖTILLÖ World Championship–winning duo, an experienced navigator, and a supporter who already knows what it takes to reach the lighthouse, their foundation is built on both skill and insight.

Having trained and raced together in different constellations, they combine familiarity, trust, and a shared commitment to preparation.

  • Team 3 – FRA/USA

    Team 3 – FRA/USA

What started as a team of strangers quickly turned into something far stronger. Entering last year’s race from completely different backgrounds and without previous experience racing together, they left as a unified team, close friends, and a tightly bonded unit forged through adversity.

Returning after a strong performance and a fifth-place finish, the team now comes back with a deeper understanding of both the race and each other. Built on trust, seamless teamwork, and strong navigation, they proved their ability to push deep into the race before a medical setback forced them to stop — despite knowing they still had more to give.

Driven by the desire to discover their true potential as a team, they focus less on chasing others and more on executing their own race.

  • Team 2 – SWEDEN

    Team 2 – SWEDEN

Experience, revenge, and fresh energy come together in this carefully built lineup. One Water Race veteran Marcus Hultgren returns after experiencing both setbacks and success in previous editions. He now joins forces with world-class orienteer and 2025 competitor Marcus Brandt, alongside former professional triathlete Jenny Nae. From the boat, Cristian Nae will play a crucial role, managing strategy, equipment, and energy balance throughout the race.

Blending elite navigation, Ironman-level endurance, and strong internal trust, this team brings together different racing backgrounds with one shared ambition, to keep evolving together.

  • Team 1 – AUSTRALIA

    Team 1 – AUSTRALIA

This team doesn’t just return — they raise the standard. With a deep adventure racing and ultra-endurance background, they’ve reached the Landsort Lighthouse four years in a row — a level of consistency few can match.

But experience alone won’t win this race.

Balancing speed, navigation, and tactical precision, they combine elite navigation, all-round physical strength, swimming power, and sharp organisational skills into one well-oiled machine. United by trust, teamwork, and a relentless drive to improve, their ambition is clear: Arrive stronger. Smarter. Faster than ever before.
