– Race experience
I think my previous races and the finish in 2024 speak for themselves.
– Why do you want to participate in One Water Race?
I really got the itch to join the race again while commentating from the boat this year, and training for an endurance race like this is my lifestyle. I want to make a grand-style comeback from my Achilles tendon operation in July and finish on the podium. I also want to race and be able to appreciate the crazy big machinery of amazing people behind the race that I had the privilege to observe this year while commentating.
– Have you taken a similar challenge before?
Yes.
– What are your strengths?
100 hours of One Water Race racing taught me a lot both about myself and about the race. Other strengths are that I never give up, I prepare myself extremely well, and I know what it takes to get to the lighthouse.
– What are your weaknesses?
As a solo racer for my entire career, I will need to focus on being a team member instead of taking care of myself when the race gets tough.
– Have you been to the Stockholm archipelago and what do you know/think about the terrain?
I love everything about the archipelago and was practically born and raised there. Eight ÖtillÖ races and two OWR races have given me knowledge of both the islands in general and the specific terrain on the islands.
– What are you most looking forward to, if you would participate in One Water Race?
Finish line burger and beer!
