– Why do you want to participate in One Water Race?
Being racing most of the biggest swimrun events since 2021, I was eager to try something new. As OWR appeared, I knew this would be one of my bucket list races. Thanks to this team, I feel confident that we have the right capacity to make it!
– Have you taken a similar challenge before?
It will be the longest challenge I have ever done.
– What are your strengths?
My open water swimming experience and swimrun knowledge, my patience and determination, my experience in training at high intensity for a long time while managing my body/energy.
– What are your weaknesses?
It will be a first time on that distance and I think managing the body temperature will be new for me.
– What would be your biggest challenges in this race?
Dealing with the cold.
– Have you been to the Stockholm archipelago and what do you know/think about the terrain?
My first participation in Otillo WC was in 2018 and I have since done 5 other editions with 2 wins and 1 third place. I’ve also raced Uto WS several times in critical weather conditions (2022 notably). Since 2020, I’ve been doing a summer training camp in the Stockholm archipelago every year.
– What are you most looking forward to, if you would participate in One Water Race?
Experiencing this adventure with this team will be a huge part of the excitement racing OWR, but I also look forward to experiencing the uncomfortable situations we will have to face and discover how far I can push myself.
