– Why do you want to participate in One Water Race?

To challenge myself. After competing at a high level in swimrun since 2018 I thought this was the ultimate new challenge. To do something really out of my comfort zone to see how I will handle it and to learn new things like navigation and how the body will react after so many hours out at a race course. Now I also have a team with people I trust to do this race together with and who I believe in as teammates. I have raced with Lars before at Ångaloppet and it was a great experience. Hugo and I have shared training sessions and a lot of race trips. Nico I do share training sessions with in Stockholm on a regular basis.

– Have you taken a similar challenge before?

No.

– What are your strengths?

To not give up, to motivate my teammates, work as a team, stay positive during races.

– What are your weaknesses?

I do not have experience of long races like this and do not know how my body will react.

– What would be your biggest challenges in this race?

The cold.

– Have you been to the Stockholm archipelago and what do you know/think about the terrain?

I have done a lot of training hours and a lot of competitions in it. It is where I learned to love swimrun.

– What are you most looking forward to, if you would participate in One Water Race?

To see how my body will react to a challenge like this and also to work as a team. The team aspect is my favorite part of swimrun and now you even get more than one teammate to share the experience with.
