– Race experience

3 Adventure Racing World Championships with lots of navigation and sleep deprivation. Organising and participating in several multi-day survival hikes in the Andes, Himalayas and Tanzania. Organising adventure racing training events (6h–48h). Travelling around the world (89 countries).

– Why do you want to participate in One Water Race?

Because it’s the hardest race in the world. It’s uncertain whether you’re going to finish, and that’s what makes it so special. Testing how far I can push myself and my team. And I want to prove that we are capable of finishing this race, especially after the experience we had last year.

– Have you taken a similar challenge before?

One Water Race 2024 and OWR 2025 as a Media Runner, which gave me many insights into what it takes to finish the race. Nothing else can be compared to this race.

– What are your strengths?

Strong mindset. My intuition.

– What are your weaknesses?

Not having lived near the archipelago.

– What would be your biggest challenges in this race?

Sleep deprivation.

– Have you been to the Stockholm archipelago and what do you know/think about the terrain?

Yes, for One Water Race 2024 and 2025, so we are much more used to the terrain and its challenges this time. I also gained a lot of experience when being a Media Runner.

– What are you most looking forward to, if you would participate in One Water Race?

The whole experience. Unique nature. The cold. The extreme. The teamwork.
