    TEAM 1 – SWEDEN

    This Gothenburg-based team consists of the three racers Helen and Anders Wikmar and Alexander Berggren. They are a very “swim strong” team, and they aim to swim as much as possible and show how effective this is. Helen and Anders have extensive experience in endurance training and in particular Swimrun. Alexander is a professional triathlete and Swimrunner and has been part of the National Open Water Team. Their support crew and fourth team member is Nanna Bergendahl, a very experienced orienteer and navigator, who has done many long swimruns and multisport races.

    TEAM 3 – AUSTRALIA

    Introducing Team 3 – Austarlia. Also known as the One Water Race 2023 Winners! Coming from a strong adventure racing and endurance background, this team has now shown that they have what it takes to make it to the lighthouse in Landsort, not once, but twice. Far from being complacent, they are continuing to put in the hard work to improve their skills. “We will use our experience in ultra endurance events to balance speed and navigation to ensure we keep on course and keep mistakes to a minimum. Rob’s exceptional navigation skills will be complimented by Elizabeth’s all-round physical strengths and Glenn’s swimming prowess which will allow us to keep moving fast, and in the right direction.  Combine this with Julian’s exceptional organisational and tactical knowledge and our whole teams experience, our goal is to be unbeatable.”
