Q&A
– What other experiences do you have that demonstrates your competence and ability to complete One Water Race?
10 years of racing Swimrun and Adventure Racing multi-day races around the world.
More than 15 races 24h+ of different locations and terrain.
– Why do you want to participate in One Water Race?
In 2023 I felt like a swimrun of this length and dignity would be just my thing, and I fell in love with the race and the format even more than I could imagine. I'm looking forward to the preparations individually and as a team to put us on the starting line more prepared and competitive than last year.
To get to race with a team like this, filled with trust and belief in each other is rare and when getting the opportunity to also grow together and make speed out of our learnings, of course I want to race again.
– Have you taken a similar challenge before?
One Water Race 2023 and several other multi-day races of various terrain.
– What are your strengths?
My endurance and stamina to keep moving no matter what and bring the team along with me will take us thorough. My grand experience will help us face and overcome the challenges we’ll meet along the way.
– What are your weaknesses?
I struggled with the confidence in navigation last year, and for 2024 I’ll be more prepared with knowledge and experience but the confidence will still be put to test.
– What would be your biggest challenges in this race?
My challenge will be to keep the team together and lift all four of us the same way as I did in 2023 despite meeting new and possibly bigger tests.
– Have you been to the Stockholm archipelago and what do you know/think about the terrain?
Grew up in the archipelago and have loved it all my life. More and more for every race and training session out there.
– What are you most looking forward to, if you would participate in One Water Race?
To be in the strong connection of our team, to work hard for my team mates, to lift them up and see them perform. And to finally put my hand at the door of the lighthouse.
