Introducing TEAM 1 – SWEDEN
This Gothenburg-based team consists of the three racers Helen and Anders Wikmar and Alexander Berggren. They are a very “swim strong” team, and they aim to swim as much as possible and show how effective this is. Helen and Anders have extensive experience in endurance training and in particular Swimrun. Alexander is a professional triathlete and Swimrunner and has been part of the National Open Water Team. Their support crew and fourth team member is Nanna Bergendahl, a very experienced orienteer and navigator, who has done many long swimruns and multisport races.
“We want to participate in the One Water Race because we love to push the boundaries and we love to spend time in nature. The sea and the archipelago is our second home. We are a very ‘swim strong’ team and we will try to push the swims and swim as much as possible.”
I’m looking forward to meeting this challenge. I want to see what this race can do with our team and what we can do with this race.”
