Alongside her, Marcus Brandt adds endurance and expert navigation skills, Rickard Berglund — a renowned swimrun profile — contributes exceptional open-water and multi-discipline endurance, and support crew Rasmus Söderholm, with his military background, ensures strategic and precise execution. Each team member contributes unique qualities, forming a unit where every strength complements the next. Their mission is clear — to push through every obstacle, endure every hardship, and reach the lighthouse as one unstoppable force.

This determined Canadian-Australian endurance team is ready to push their limits once again. The powerhouse adventure racing duo of Mitch Nissen and Hilary Bell are joined by Murray Macpherson, a strong swimmer turned ultra-endurance runner. With experienced navigator Brock Hawke providing strategic support, they form a resilient and well-rounded team. After a hard-fought third-place finish in OWR 2024, their journey is far from over. Driven by a relentless desire to grow, they are eager to take on the extreme challenge of One Water Race 2025.

After a challenging debut in OWR 2024, Team 8 – Sweden returns with valuable experience and renewed determination. Alexander Berggren, an elite triathlete and outstanding swimmer, brings speed and endurance. Helen Wikmar is an unstoppable force, thriving in tough conditions. Anders radiates positivity and has a natural talent for orienteering —his commitment to sharpening his navigation skills will be key in 2025. Nanna, the team’s structured and methodical support crew and navigator, ensures precision and keeps everything running smoothly. With a well-balanced team, hard-earned lessons, and a drive to push further, they are ready to take on One Water Race 2025!

Determined, prepared, and relentless—Team 7 USA is ready to take on One Water Race. With racers Kawika Tarayao, Kayla Kobelin, and Justin Smith, alongside support crew Melissa Smith, this team is built on resilience, strategy, and an unshakable bond. With a strong experience in swimrun, expedition racing, and extreme endurance, they bring the perfect mix of skill, grit, and determination. We believe this is the year history will be made—the year a U.S. team finally reaches the finish line. With their drive, thorough preparation, and strong mindset, Team 7 has everything it takes to conquer the archipelago and race toward the lighthouse.

Team 6, featuring Daniel Hansson, Adriel Young, Kristin Larsson, and Johan Hasselmark, is a dominant force in endurance racing —among the very best in the sport. With an unparalleled ability to push limits and master extreme challenges, they set the standard for excellence. As two-time One Water Race champions (2022 & 2024), they have repeatedly proven that they are the team to beat. Their relentless drive, seamless teamwork, and deep experience in grueling endurance races make them a nearly unstoppable competitor. They never settle, never back down, and always strive for more.

Team 5 – FRA/SWE
A powerhouse of experience, endurance, and determination. This exceptional team consists of Desirée Andersson, a former competitive swimmer and one of the most accomplished athletes in the sport, Lars Ekman, a Swedish military athlete with a career since 2011 who has never missed a podium in an ÖTILLÖ race, Hugo Tormento, a former French national swimmer who set a new ÖTILLÖ World Championship record by 38 minutes in 2022, and Nicolas Tormento, based in Stockholm since 2019, who brings invaluable local expertise as support crew.

A dedicated squad united by one mission: to represent Great Britain in One Water Race, push their limits, and reach the lighthouse together. Since January 2024, they have been training relentlessly for this extreme challenge, where endurance, strategy, and teamwork will be the key to success. The goal is not just to compete – they want to grow, learn, and develop as a team. This is Team 4 featuring Gaz Roberts, Rhian Roxburgh, Chris Goodfellow with support Mike Alexander.

Battle-tested in the One Water Race, three of these athletes have taken on the challenge before but have yet to reach the finish line. Now, seasoned swimrunners and endurance racers Jarrod Shoemaker, Chris Wright, and Kristen Smith are back—stronger and more determined than ever. Joining them is a six-time French Elite Triathlon champion and Olympic athlete, bringing a new level of experience and competitive edge. Together, they form Team 2 – USA/FRA, ready to push their limits once again.
