    A team that brings one natural born human by the sea, one adventure race machine and one ultra sky race runner. Joining hands in the ultimate swimrun race and merging into ONE team. With big smiles, racing attitude and passion for the elements of nature. Team 4 consists of the three racers Alexander Koller, Marika Wagner and Fredrik Nilzén and Support crew: Robert Hanning.

    TEAM 5 – CAN/AUS/SWE

    The young, fun, and capable endurance racing team that combines the Australian adventure racing duo of Mitch Nissen and Hilary Bell with the outstanding Swedish racer Marcus Hultgren and support crew of Mikael Morin. Hilary is a phenomenal racer and ex-Canadian professional swimmer; Mitch is an experienced navigator, swimmer, and expedition racer; Marcus is a full-time endurance racer and Mikael is an experienced ÖtillÖ athlete with the local knowledge and navigation skills as support crew during the race.

    We are constantly seeking the next challenge that provides the environment for us to grow. One Water Race sets the standard for the ultimate endurance test. We want to be pushed harder than ever before. We love the outdoors and believe the natural environment needs to be preserved for current and future generations. We want to be a part of the One Water movement that encourages preservation of our precious natural resources and awareness of the water crisis while enjoying and appreciating the beautiful world on which we are temporary guests.

    The winners of OWR22 will be back to defend their title! This is a team of multiple world champions and some of the top profiles in swimrun, Daniel Hansson, Kristin Larsson, Adriel Young and Johan Hasselmark as support crew. This is a team with solid experience from both swimrun and adventure racing that makes them one of the best in the world within the field. They know the terrain and have a unique combination of both endurance and speed.

  • TEAM 6 – URY / BRA / PRY

    TEAM 6 – URY / BRA / PRY

    We are a team with more than 10 years running together in adventure races and other type of endurance races. We have a lot of experience, a high pain threshold, and excellent teamwork that we believe can successfully lead us to the goal. The team consists of the three Uruguayans racers; Ruben Manduré, Federica Frontini and Gonzalo Smaldone, and the Brazilian support crew Thiago Bonini.

    It will be our second time in the One Water Race and our aim is to reach the Landsort lighthouse door, now with one of the team members replaced making us even stronger and more competitive. It’s very important for us to be part of the One Water Race organization and the cause to protect our water is vital.”

    Two returning athletes from 2022, Jarrod Shoemaker and Kristen Smith, have used their experience to put together a new dream team. Now joined by the adventure racer and pro triathlete Alyssa Godesky and ultraman athlete Steve Keller. Needless to say, they’re eager to finish…

    “We made it 2/3 of the way in 2022 and now we need to get it done. Alyssa and Steve love big challenges and are excited to help push the pace. Our biggest challenge will be overcoming the demons of 2022. We need to stay positive and learn from our mistakes. What we thought would be the problems were not, so learning, adapting, and moving forward are our goals.”

  • TEAM 2 – AUSTRALIA

    TEAM 2 – AUSTRALIA

    Team 2 – Australia will include Rob Preston, Elizabeth Dornom, Glenn Wilkinson and Julian Dent. Coming from a strong adventure racing and endurance background they have put in the hard work to transform their skills for OWR and finished second, when competed as Team 8 Australia in 2022.

    They will use their experience in ultra endurance events to balance speed and navigation to ensure to keep on course and keep mistakes to a minimum. Rob’s exceptional navigation skills will be complimented by Elizabeth’s all-round physical strengths and Glenn’s swimming prowess will allow them to keep moving fast, and in the right direction. Combine this with Julian’s exceptional organizational and tactical knowledge and now an extra year of experience, their goal is to be unbeatable.
