– Why do you want to participate in One Water Race?
Because I know it will push me, and our team, to the limit. I like the dynamic nature of the race format and the decision making as it plays out. I enjoy working in mixed teams.
– Have you taken a similar challenge before?
Multi day expedition races. Multi day 270km expedition across Costa RIca. 24 day mountaineering expedition in Alaska. Many 3/4 day expeditions.
– What are your strengths?
Navigation, route planning, endurance, calmness. Recognising others strengths. Holding things together in challenging situations. When things don’t go to plan I’m usually strong.
– What are your weaknesses?
Asking for help.
– What would be your biggest challenges in this race?
Sleep deprivation. Managing to get the most out of every team member.
– Have you been to the Stockholm archipelago and what do you know/think about the terrain?
Yes, 7 times for ÖTILLÖ races. I love the terrain there. If successful in application all team members plan to be racing at Uto 2025.
– What are you most looking forward to, if you would participate in One Water Race?
The uncertainty around whether we will get to the finish or not. Building and working with an awesome team. Learning from others.
