– Why do you want to participate in One Water Race?

I love the process of pushing myself and seeing what is possible. But I have never started anything that I did not know I would be able to finish. Until I started to think about OWR. That very thought scares me and excites me all at the very same time.

– Have you taken a similar challenge before?

I have done many 3/4 day adventures in the mountains.

– What are your strengths?

I would say that swimming is my main strength. I love the cold and my body seems to operate at its best in cold conditions. I love swimrun and the more challenging the conditions, the happier I seem to be. I also think sharing nature in this way with other people is a very special thing, in the past it seems to have brought the best out in me.

– What are your weaknesses?

In most ”normal” races I have a tendency to go out like a bull in a china shop! That is something I clearly can not do in OWR. Worrying about injuries as they unfold during these types of events

– What would be your biggest challenges in this race?

Sleep deprivation, not eating enough. Staying positive when things get really tough.

– Have you been to the Stockholm archipelago and what do you know/think about the terrain?

Yes, 4 times for ÖtillÖ World champs 2019, 2022, 2023, 2024.

– What are you most looking forward to, if you would participate in One Water Race?

Sharing the adventure with my team and seeing what we are capable of working together.
