– Why do you want to participate in One Water Race?

I want to be challenged, this race looks tough and with unknown obstacles to overcome.

– Have you taken a similar challenge before?

I’ve recently completed my first adventure race in Malaysia, it was great fun but not overly difficult. I look forward to a bigger challenge in Sweden. The backyard ultra and adventure race this year has given me some experience with sleep deprivation and fuelling for a long race.

– What are your strengths?

Swimming, running, navigation

– What are your weaknesses?

Dealing with the cold, experience with 2 nights without sleep

– What would be your biggest challenges in this race?

The unknown obstacles between 30-60hours of racing. No sleep for two nights. Staying warm.

– Have you been to the Stockholm archipelago and what do you know/think about the terrain?

I’ve not been to the archipelago but the terrain looks amazing for running off trail.

– What are you most looking forward to, if you would participate in One Water Race?

The challenge racing in a new country and learning about the sport of swimrun.
