– Why do you want to participate in One Water Race?
I want to participate in Onew Water Race because it’s a race where it doesn’t matter if you have done it a few times, it is still an extraordinary challenge. You will never get used to the length, the cold, the sleep deprivation etc. I have huge respect for the race but I am also motivated to improve and take on the challenge again.
– Have you taken a similar challenge before?
Yes, I have taken a similar challenge before. I have participated in One Water Race all editions.
– What are your strengths?
My strengths are that I have long experience from racing similar races and I am a strong team player.
– What are your weaknesses?
My weaknesses in a race like this are my poor navigation skills and bad sense of direction.
– What would be your biggest challenges in this race?
My biggest challenges in this race are how to keep up a fast pace all the way between Arholma and Landsort. I want to minimize all the low periods as much as possible.
– Have you been to the Stockholm archipelago and what do you know/think about the terrain?
I have been to the Stockholm archipelago before and it’s fantastic and challenging terrain and I love the diversity and how exposed it is to the weather. I have spent a lot of time swimming, running and kayaking in the archipelago.
– What are you most looking forward to, if you would participate in One Water Race?
If I get the opportunity to race in One Water Race again I look forward to the preparations before the race and also to race hard together with my strong teammates again.
