Q&A
– What other experiences do you have that demonstrates your competence and ability to complete One Water Race?
* Multiple 24/48/100 hr Adventure Races * Multiple Ultra Marathon Trail Runs * National Kayak representative * National Swimming representative
– Why do you want to participate in One Water Race?
OWR has a unique aura about it. I would love to return to OWR in 2024 to defend our title and be part of the special event once again.
– Have you taken a similar challenge before?
Yes, OWR 2022 and OWR 2023.
– What are your strengths?
Swimming and the ability to remain calm and positive in testing times.
– What are your weaknesses?
Running and getting into my swimrun suit on my own.
– What would be your biggest challenges in this race?
Our biggest challenge remains the same as it has in the past. To reach Lansort Lighthouse, although we have done it before, our focus must remain first and foremost, reaching Landsort!
– Have you been to the Stockholm archipelago and what do you know/think about the terrain?
The Stockholm archipelago is such a special destination and provides an amazing playground to host OWR. I can't wait to get back into the forest, eat Blueberries and island hop our way down the coast.
– What are you most looking forward to, if you would participate in One Water Race?
In both OWR 22 and OWR 23 our team did not see a Moose on the course. Personally, I really want to see a Moose this year! A burger and Landsort Larger at the finish line is pretty appealing too!
