Q&A
– Why do you want to participate in One Water Race?
I'm drawn to the whole concept of the race itself and the environmental purpose behind it. No matter how the race unfolds it will without a doubt be the adventure and experience of a lifetime.
– Have you taken a similar challenge before?
There are of course similarities with longer swimrun races but the ORC is a different matter for various reasons. The closest which comes really close is the Kraken Epic in 2020 where me and Pontus covered the entire Stockholm archipelago but in an expedition and not a race format.
– What are your strengths?
Fast running, technical as well as non technical, as well as swimming. Well familiar with the terrain and used to the harsh condition of the archipelago.
– What are your weaknesses?
Not used to having to navigate in races.
– What will be your biggest challenge?
It would still be handling the cold and the dark.
– Have you been to the Stockholm archipelago?
Know all about it. It's beautiful but harsh and demanding.
– What do you know/think about the terrain?
I think that for me the weather is cold even in summer, and the landscapes on the islands are beautiful.
