About

Team 1 – AUSTRALIA

This team doesn’t just return — they raise the standard. With a deep adventure racing and ultra-endurance background, they’ve reached the Landsort Lighthouse four years in a row — a level of consistency few can match.

But experience alone won’t win this race.

Balancing speed, navigation, and tactical precision, they combine elite navigation, all-round physical strength, swimming power, and sharp organisational skills into one well-oiled machine. United by trust, teamwork, and a relentless drive to improve, their ambition is clear: Arrive stronger. Smarter. Faster than ever before.

OWR has been an amazing experience for us. The organisation and the mission of One Water itself is a driving factor in bringing us back. Of course we are a very competitive bunch too, so we do not want to miss another opportunity to take part in this unique challenge and prove we have got what it takes to win again!

– Which strengths make your team capable of succeeding in a race like this?

We are a very fun loving and cohesive team and we all work hard to perform our individual role within the team to make us an efficient operating machine. We also trust each other immensely to make the right decisions when needed and utilize our many years of adventure racing and previous OWR experience to compliment our teamwork.

– What are your weaknesses or areas of concern in this type of challenge?

Despite having finished OWR previously, a challenge as big as this must not be taken lightly and we are sure the competition is going to be faster, tougher and push us to our limits. The unpredictable weather and water temperature during the race can also not be underestimated and will indeed prove a huge challenge for us to overcome if we want to get to Landsort.

– What goals does your team have for participating in One Water Race?

Our goal has always been firstly to get to the Lighthouse in Landsort and perform at our best as a team. We are striving to continue to improve so that we are stronger and smarter than previous years to be on the top step of the podium!

– Have you raced together as a team before? If yes, in what races?

Yes. OWR 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025.
