– Why do you want to participate in One Water Race?

With great mates competing, I have followed this race since its inception. The stories they tell when they return home about the people, the place, and the organisation this is an opportunity that when asked, you couldn’t say no.

– Have you taken a similar challenge before?

I have competed in Adventure Racing and Rogaining in Australia for many years as well as racing on 6 out of the 7 continents.

– What are your strengths?

Navigation and also thinking outside of the box.

– What are your weaknesses?

Trying to keep up with the team swimming, hence why I will be on the boat.

– What would be your biggest challenges in this race?

Not eating the racer’s race food as well as being with them on the run legs.

– Have you been to the Stockholm archipelago and what do you know/think about the terrain?

Never. Seen the footage on previous events and can’t wait to see it in real life. (my wife is envious of me coming solo. But I promise to bring her next time)

– What are you most looking forward to, if you would participate in One Water Race?

Being around competitive people, working together to reach the finish line.
