OWR has been an amazing experience for us. The organisation and the mission of One Water itself is a driving factor in bringing us back. Of course we are a very competitive bunch too, so we do not want to miss another opportunity to take part in this unique challenge and prove we have got what it takes.
– What would be your biggest challenge as a team?
Our biggest challenge as a team will be the unpredictable weather and water temperature during the race. Positivity and moral support are two key strengths of our team and we will need to draw on this continuously to battle the elements and reach the finish line. Despite having finished OWR in 2022 and 2023, a challenge as big as this must not be taken lightly and we are sure the competition is going to be faster, tougher and push us to our limits.
– What are your goals if you would participate in One Water Race?
We will aim to defend our title from 2023. We now have 110hrs of experience in the archipelago as a team, and know we will be hard to beat if we can perform at our previous levels. But we will keep improving wherever we can so we are stronger and smarter in 2024.
