– Why do you want to participate in One Water Race?
I want to reach my limit and hope I do it in OWR.
– Have you taken a similar challenge before?
Yes.
– What are your strengths?
Persistent and stubborn. Usually also a happy bastard.
– What are your weaknesses?
Planning, strategy, orientation, old cranky body (just turned 45)
– What would be your biggest challenges in this race?
Teamwork can be problematic. I don’t like it when people whine. Can be quite harsh, insensitive and dictatorial in such situations.
– Have you been to the Stockholm archipelago and what do you know/think about the terrain?
I’ve taken the boat to Gröna Lund and hung out at my wife’s parents’ cottage in Furusund where I wet myself a few times. The islands and the water can be a bit rough at times. Also tough when the Djurgård ferry is full and it gets crowded.
– What are you most looking forward to, if you would participate in One Water Race?
I look forward to working together with my teammates and overcoming all the difficult situations and periods that will arise. For me, it is a luxury to spend several days in motion in our beautiful nature. What is there not to look forward to, actually?
